As part of our commitment to sustainable development and women’s empowerment, we have designed an innovative immersion project within communities of women farmers in desert areas. Our aim is to gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by these women, enhance their traditional knowledge and support their economic empowerment.

1. Understanding Local Challenges:
Our team will go out into the field to live alongside these women and understand their daily realities. We will listen to their stories, share their experiences and identify the challenges they face, such as limited access to water, basic infrastructure and markets.

2. Valuing Traditional Knowledge:
We recognize the wealth of traditional knowledge held by these women about agriculture and adaptation to arid conditions. Through intercultural exchanges and participatory workshops, we will highlight their expertise and their essential contribution to preserving the environment.

3. Promoting Economic Empowerment:
Working with the women of the community, we will develop strategies to strengthen their livelihoods and diversify their sources of income.This could include training in new farming techniques, the creation of marketing cooperatives and access to wider markets for their products.

4.Integration of Sustainable Solutions:
We will explore sustainable solutions to the environmental and socio-economic challenges facing these communities.This could include the implementation of environmentally-friendly farming practices, natural resource management and the development of appropriate infrastructure.

5.Raising awareness and Advocacy:
By documenting our experience and sharing the inspiring stories of the women we meet, we will raise awareness of the importance of supporting rural communities in desert areas.We will also advocate policies and initiatives to ensure gender equality and sustainable development.
