This policy applies to all visitors to essentialcareplus.com, to anyone who places an order through our retail catalog, and to wholesale applicants and approved buyers. It explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Order data: name, email, phone, shipping/billing address, items purchased, payment confirmation token (we never store your full card number, that lives at Stripe).
  • Wholesale application data: business name, EIN, resale certificate, contact name, expected volume.
  • Account data: if you create an account: email, hashed password, order history.
  • Newsletter: email and consent timestamp via FluentCRM.
  • Site analytics: aggregated, IP-anonymised page views via a self-hosted analytics tool. No cross-site tracking, no Google Analytics.
  • Cookies: session, cart, login, language preference. Listed in Cookies below.

How we use it

  • To process and ship your order.
  • To answer support and wholesale inquiries.
  • To approve wholesale and Net 30 applications.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping, returns).
  • To send newsletter emails, only if you explicitly subscribe. Unsubscribe link is in every email.
  • To improve the site (aggregated analytics, never on a per-person basis).

What we share

  • Stripe, payment processing.
  • Carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, freight brokers), shipping address only.
  • FluentCRM, newsletter delivery (self-hosted on our own server).
  • Hosting (Hostinger Business), server-level access only, encrypted at rest.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share data with advertising networks.

Cookies

  • wp_woocommerce_session_*, your shopping cart. Session.
  • wordpress_logged_in_*, login state. Set only when you log in.
  • cart_currency, preserves your selected currency. 30 days.
  • ecp_consent, your cookie banner choice. 12 months.

No third-party advertising, retargeting or fingerprinting cookies are set on this site. For full cookie details, see our cookie policy.

Your rights

  • Request a copy of your data.
  • Request deletion of your account and order history (note: we are required by US tax law to retain order records for 7 years; we redact personal identifiers and keep only the financial trail).
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • Update your address, email, and password from your account.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@essentialcareplus.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter and on the site.
